Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Greig was Vice President of Strategy Consulting for the Foundation Strategy Group, formed by Harvard’s Michael Porter to provide strategy and implementation consulting to corporate and private foundations. Previously, Greig was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, based in New Jersey and London, serving a variety of clients in the life sciences and technology industries with a strong focus on organizational work, particularly merger integration. Greig began his career as an officer in the United States Navy, first flying SH-60 helicopters and then serving in the Pentagon on the Chief of Naval Operations Staff, working on technology transfer issues.
Greig earned a BA (with distinction) from Cornell University, an MBA (with distinction) from Harvard Business School, and a Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, where he was a Kennedy Scholar. Greig is a partner in Social Venture Partners, which provides funding and consulting support to help small not-for-profits gain traction and grow.
