Kentaro Aramaki leads Egon Zehnder’s Executive Assessment and Development Practice in Tokyo and is also active in the firm’s Japanese Health Practice. He is a trusted advisor to global and local health-care companies on executive search, management appraisals, and CEO succession, working closely with them to develop top management teams.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Kentaro was Chief Operations Officer at Materials & Energy Research Institute. Prior to that he served both as COO and as a board member with Crayfish Co., Ltd., a NASDAQ and TSE-listed company. Earlier in his career, Kentaro was an Associate Principal for McKinsey & Company based in Japan, South Korea, the U.S., and the Netherlands, working with governments and multinational companies on a range of senior management issues including corporate strategy development, M&A, and organizational design.

Kentaro earned BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Tokyo. He is currently a visiting Associate Professor at the graduate school of Globis University, teaching courses on logical and strategic thinking.

エゴンゼンダー入社以前は、戦略系コンサルティングのマッキンゼー・アンド・カンパニーの日本、米国、韓国、オランダの各事務所に在籍し、グローバル大手企業向けに全社戦略の立案、M&A、組織設計及び改革を実施。その後、株式会社クレイフィッシュ(US NASDAQ、東証上場企業)および株式会社水素エネルギー研究所(燃料電池開発の産学協同ベンチャー)にて取締役兼COOを歴任。

東京大学大学院工学系研究科修了、工学修士。現在、グロービス経営大学院(MBAプログラム)の客員准教授も兼任。
