Connect With Me

Silvia Rapallo, based in Rome, leads Egon Zehnder’s global Communications and Connectivity Practice and is also an active member of the Firm’s Technology Officers and Digital practices. In addition to executive search and board consulting, she provides leadership development services including management assessment, team effectiveness consulting, and accelerated integration support for executives transitioning to new roles.

I aspire to be a modern Virgil in my job, helping our clients (who I see as Dante) to master the challenges of their personal and professional journeys.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Silvia held several leadership roles at Wind Telecommunications in Italy. Previously, she was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, leading strategy, sales and marketing, and operations engagements for clients in Europe, South America, and the Middle East.

Silvia earned an MSc (summa cum laude) in mechanical engineering from the University of Genoa and an MBA from INSEAD in France. Besides her native Italian, she speaks excellent English. Silvia was a semi-professional volleyball player for 15 years and now enjoys tennis, scuba diving, and beach volleyball. She also loves to travel and belongs to a network that supports women in leadership roles.
