International Executive Panel 2007 spotlights education as key to future for leaders, firms and economies
The topic of Egon Zehnder International’s 3rd International Executive Panel is Education. 133 top executives, no less than 39 percent of them CEOs, owners and chairmen, took part in the survey in the fall of 2006. The members of this high-caliber panel represent small and medium size enterprises as well as major corporations. Along with their personal views on education – a topic of immense future relevance – the survey also covered the situation at their respective companies and the opinions of this elite executive panel on the current position and role of education in society. As in past years, the findings again point up revealing differences and similarities in how the various countries consider a topic of central importance – in this case education.
Egon Zehnder International conducted the first of this series of online surveys in 2004, questioning senior executives from the USA, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany about current challenges corporate management. By creating its International Executive Panel, Egon Zehnder International established an innovative tool with which to measure the opinions of infl uential corporate decision-makers from four of the world’s leading economic nations against the backdrop of current developments.
