Companies look for leaders with values
Trend

The current crisis has left many managers feeling overwhelmed by market conditions and burned-out, reports the Austrian business publication Trend. Yet in order to make a constructive contribution, leaders need to face the challenges of the future with optimism and resilience, say experts. "It is clear that the job specifications for top executives have changed dramatically," observes Philipp Harmer, head of Egon Zehnder International Austria. He describes the shift as follows: "In the past the focus was on growth and sales, but now there is a greater awareness of values, which means that stress-resistance, restructuring experience, credibility and integrity are now in demand."
