Demand for MBAs remains strong despite crisis
L’Express

Despite the recent financial crisis companies in the sector are still recruiting MBA-holders, reports the French publication L’Express. In fact, a growing number of industrial companies are showing interested in B-school graduates, including Alcatel, Thales and Schneider Electric, adds the magazine. “These recruiters are seeking candidates that are used to working in an international context. That is why they are now turning to MBAs, where graduates from all over the world are supposed to help them conquer new markets. It is also a way of diversifying the nationality of their staff,” explains Marie Baudron, a consultant at Egon Zehnder International, Paris.
