Philipp Fleischmann, a consultant at Egon Zehnder International, Berlin, emphasizes that the search for top talent is, "far more complex than in normal companies." According to Fleischmann, "A suitable manager has to offer the right mix of business expertise and emotional connection to soccer and the club in question." Otherwise, "He will not be accepted by club fans and members," he adds.
