Egon Zehnder International recently conducted a pro bono search for a new CEO for
Community Business, a Hong Kong-based NGO focused on corporate social responsibility. Community Business' mission is to lead, inspire and support companies to improve their positive impact on people and communities. When founder/CEO
Shalini Mahtani stepped down for personal reasons, the NGO approached Egon Zehnder International to find a replacement. The CEO reports to the Board of Community Business and provides leadership by developing an overall strategic direction and balancing a wide range of priorities, which include inspiring stakeholders, managing relationships with existing members and develop new relationships, talent management, strategic thinking and fundraising. Dirk Mundorf, both consultants at Egon Zehnder International, Hong Kong, were involved in the search.
Alistair McGregor, previously Director of Operations at ETA Ascon and with a strong background in sustainability, was appointed to the position.
