The Real Supply Chain Challenge
The best supply chains appear to be complex, precise machines with millions of moving parts that mesh efficiently and function flawlessly. In fact, the supply chain not only appears to be a machine, but also heavily employs machinery — from the humble forklift to various transportation vehicles to the most sophisticated communications and information technology.
