Art Avdeev advises clients across a range of industries in Europe and emerging markets worldwide. In addition to senior search projects, he has led multiple local and international leadership-consulting and management-assessment projects and helped clients build advisory and supervisory boards. Fluent in French, English, Russian, and Italian, Art assists clients in developing international governance and management teams and achieving better judgment of local opportunities globally.

I feel lucky to be able to engage with so many creative, impactful, and insightful people while helping both businesses and individuals to be more successful.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Art worked as an M&A banker with Société Générale. Before that he worked at the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, focusing on constitutional law developments in Europe.

Art earned an MBA from Clemson University in the U.S. and an MA in political science from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Art is married with three children and likes to unwind by reading and exercising, especially powerlifting.
