At Egon Zehnder International's second Supply Chain Round Table on April 3, 2009, in Miami, supply chain leaders discussed the topic of sustainability after having identified it as an important trend at the previous Supply Chain Round Table. The participants engaged in some searching dialogue about the issue and offered their experiences in dealing with it. That dialogue provides a useful picture of where sustainability stands today, where it is headed, and the impact it is having on the world and on organizations - with special focus on their supply chains.
