Peter Levin leads Egon Zehnder’s global Health Practice. He previously led the firm’s Copenhagen office and its Health Practice in North America and Europe. He has worked with boards and C-suites of leading American and European biopharmaceutical, biotech, med-tech, med-device, and diagnostic companies. Peter has deep expertise advising boards on CEO succession and recruiting CEOs and senior-level commercial, R&D, manufacturing, and quality-assurance executives in the health-care industry. He has conducted numerous board searches and board reviews for companies in the life sciences industry. Peter also provides executive assessment services, leadership development consulting, and accelerated integration support to executives transitioning to new roles.

Prior to Egon Zehnder, Peter was Head of Business Support and Development for marketing and Associate General Counsel at Novo Nordisk. Previously, he was an attorney with the law firm Kelley Drye & Warren in New York, led mergers and acquisitions at Unibank in Copenhagen, and was an attorney with the Copenhagen law firm Plesner.
Peter has a first degree in law from the University of Copenhagen School of Law and a Master of Laws from Duke University. When not working, he enjoys traveling with his family, running, and skiing.
