Having started to serve these clients in 1975 from our European base, we then opened our first office in the region in Jeddah in 1998 and then our Middle East practice in Dubai in 2005. From there, we have been working with clients across industries and sectors, including nonprofits and NGOs, throughout this broad and emerging region.
Our focus is on steadily advising our clients, despite volatile macroeconomic and geopolitical factors, in building and strengthening strong organizations with lasting leadership. Initially, their needs emerged purely as executive searches but have evolved to include talent planning, executive development, succession planning, leadership team effectiveness, executive benchmarking, and board effectiveness and build. Not only have we built a local and regional track record that is leveraged by local institutions and multinationals to identify and attract top local talent, but we also leverage Egon Zehnder's international footprint to attract top quartile executive and board talent. In the past decade, we have assessed and come to coach more and more indigenous high-potential talent into future leaders, in line with the strategic focus toward the national population.
