Albert Laverge is a Partner in Egon Zehnder's Financial Services Group and is Global Head of the Investment Banking and Markets Practice. In this role, he focuses on senior level assignments for investment banking, corporate banking and capital market clients - both at the Senior Executive and Board level. This comprises executive search, assessment & development, board reviews and succession planning. Key clients include global integrated banks, independent investment banks, regional banks, and selected clients in the private capital space. In his 14 years with Egon Zehnder he has worked in the firm’s offices in London and Amsterdam, and now leads the Global Banking practice from New York.


Albert started his career as an M&A banker with S.G.Warburg (later SBCWarburg, Warburg Dillon Read and UBS) in New York. He went on to work for the bank in the UK and the Netherlands in a series of corporate finance and coverage roles. Subsequently he was a Vice President with The Atlantic Group, focusing principal investments in the Emerging Markets, and Director of Strategy & Business Development at Viacom, also focused on the company's international acquisitions.

Albert has an MBA from Columbia Business School, a Master's Degree in Economic Policy from Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs and an AB in Politics from Princeton University. He sits on the Board of New Yorkers for Parks and of the Netherlands-America Foundation, the former of which also sits on the Executive Committee and the Nomination & Governance Committee.
