Angel V. Gallinal, based in Miami, focuses on consumer-facing industries including travel and hospitality and is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s CEO, Financial Officers and Human Resources Practices. He is experienced in executive search for C-suite positions and is especially passionate about helping clients fill board-level financial roles. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Angel worked for companies serving the entertainment market. As Managing Director of NBA Latin America and Manager of New Business Development for Disney Consumer Products International, he carried out a variety of tasks and projects that ranged from licensing consumer products to developing marketing and sponsorship partnerships, to staging live events, including managing the logistics for the NBA’s first-ever regular season game in Mexico. Earlier in his career, Angel gained corporate banking experience at a major financial institution in the southeastern U.S.
He now belongs to the Executive Committee of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board and is a past trustee of the University of Miami and a member of the advisory board to Women Executive Leadership (WEL). Angel is also the Immediate Past President of the University of Miami’s Citizens Board and is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee. Apart from that, he finds time to serve on the national board of Up2Us, a nonprofit group that dedicates itself to transforming the lives of vulnerable young people in America by harnessing the power of sports.
Angel earned an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
