Bhawana Malhotra, based in Singapore, applies her extensive strategy consulting, leadership and marketing experience in the healthcare industry to help clients in the health and technology sectors forge practicable, highly effective solutions. She is passionate about driving enterprise-wide impact across all levels through talent engagement, executive coaching and development, and organizational design. Bhawana’s skill set includes maximizing the effectiveness of product launches and strengthening marketing (and support) organizations and sales force execution.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Bhawana spent several years at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, most recently as Commercial Execution Excellence Lead in Singapore where she supported the Novartis Pharma Asia Region and helped shape and kick off a multi-country initiative. That was preceded by working on a block-buster product launch in the US. Prior to that, she served as Executive Director and Head of Strategic Insights and Analytics in charge of a team engaged in analytics for optimizing business decisions and the marketing mix. Prior to Novartis, Bhawana was with McKinsey & Company, rising to become Associate Partner and assisting clients in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, and healthcare services sectors with a broad range of strategic, organizational and commercial issues. Bhawana launched her career at Arthur Andersen where she worked in the audit and business consulting group in India.
Bhawana earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) of Delhi University, then qualified as a chartered accountant at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India before going on to complete an MBA in Strategy, Finance and Operations at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
