Brian David, based in Palo Alto and San Francisco, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Technology and Communications Practice, an arena in which he has more than two decades of leadership and advisory experience. Brian also focuses on senior-level searches for portfolio companies of private equity and venture capital firms.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Brian was a senior executive at Asurion, a global technology protection leader, where he was GM of the e-commerce vertical and then created the Customer Experience function. Previously, Brian served a term appointment at the Federal Communications Commission, where he helped lead the creation of the National Broadband Plan in 2010. Earlier, Brian led business development, sales and marketing functions at several high-growth technology businesses including Visage Mobile, Yodle, Moxi Digital, and NorthPoint. At the start of his career, Brian was a consultant in the technology practice at Bain & Company, based in San Francisco and London, and a financial analyst in the Media Group at Goldman Sachs, based in New York, Tokyo, and Sydney.
Brian received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Duke University in Durham, NC.
