Caspar von Blomberg, based in Munich, leads Egon Zehnder’s Financial Officers Practice in Germany and serves clients across the banking, insurance, and industrial sectors. He also serves NGOs and leads executive search in the areas of corporate sustainability and climate change. In addition to executive search, Caspar conducts management appraisals and provides accelerated integration support to executives transitioning into new roles. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Caspar was Managing Director Europe of the Carbon Disclosure Project, a leading institutional investor initiative in the area of sustainable economies and climate change. Previously, he led corporate strategy departments at Allianz, at Dresdner Bank, and at AXA.. Caspar started his professional career as a Credit Analyst at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt. He later advised multinational clients on corporate finance and M&A transactions.
Caspar earned an M.A. in History, American Studies and Drama from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, and an M.Sc.(econ) in International Relations from the London School of Economics. Caspar is co-founder of the Arco Iris Stiftung, a foundation in support of the largest street children charity in the city of La Paz, Bolivia, where he worked as a volunteer in 2003.
