Dede Orraca-Cecil, based in Boston, is a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards and senior executives across the world of health, including life sciences, health services and digital health organizations. As the work of these companies converge, they are experiencing dynamic challenges to their business models, but also opportunities for robust growth. To help meet these challenges, Dede consults on a wide range of talent acquisition and leadership solutions, including executive search and recruitment, transformative leadership, management appraisals and talent assessments.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Dede was a principal in the healthcare practice at Tapestry Networks. Tapestry is a highly regarded strategy-consulting firm that specializes in creating multi-stakeholder public-private partnerships to address issues in healthcare, finance and corporate governance. She was an associate in the New York and San Francisco offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where she focused primarily on Mass Torts, Insurance, Consumer and Securities Litigation. Dede also spent a number of years working in global health, development and foreign policy with several organizations including the World Health Organization, the Clinton Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dede earned a JD from Columbia University School of Law, a Master’s Degree in Global Health Policy and Development from Yale University, and a BA in Art History from Williams College.
