Jennie Rittberg Egon Zehnder, Toronto
Jennie Rittberg, based in Toronto, has made talent assessment and development, along with executive search, a core part of her work, which includes diversity initiatives, recruiting and training programs and mentoring. She is particularly interested in financial services, industrials, natural resources and infrastructure. Jennie’s projects so far have included creating a customer-focused digital strategy for a multinational life insurer and developing and launching a new bank product with a client banking team. A professional engineer registered in Canada, she has also gained end-to-end experience in greenfield and brownfield project development (from design to commissioning) and worked in multiple other sectors from mining and oil & gas across ports and bulk commodities to construction and public infrastructure.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Jennie worked for Aimia Inc. where she held the post of General Manager in charge of a $200M cobrand credit card portfolio in a matrix organization for the company’s American Express partnership and cross-account strategy. Prior to that, she served as Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Her assignments there included developing a talent strategy for a bank, creating a workforce planning strategy for a mining company and forging a market entry strategy for a global construction company. Jennie began her career as Project Engineer at Westmar Consultants, remaining in that position after it was acquired by WorleyParsons.
Jennie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction at the University of Victoria and then completed a Master of Business Administration in the top 10% of her class (dean's list) at the University of Western Ontario.
