Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Karim was Global Head of Propositions & Sales at Sony Ericsson Mobile, where he drove early investment in the Android platform. Previously, Karim gained more than a decade of FMCG experience with Diageo. He started his career working in Brand Management for Guinness in Canada, then moved to London as Brand Controller Guinness and Malta Guinness for the Africa region. Karim subsequently led Baileys in the UK market and was Marketing Director for Guinness in Europe, including Ukraine and Russia.

Karim earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in Canada and completed the Executive Education program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been a key speaker at the Digital Innovation Summit as well as for Endeavour (a global entrepreneur network) and LIFE (an international non-profit organization for Lebanese Executives in Finance).
