Manuel de Miranda founded the firm’s office in Washington, D.C. As the Managing Partner of the D.C. office he works broadly across several sectors. He has advised Boards of the Fortune 500 on their CEO succession, and has designed complex leadership assessment projects in support of clients’ Executive Development programs. He is a graduate of Georgetown’s Leadership Coaching Program and has led coaching engagements with senior clients as they seek to develop their leadership potential.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Manuel was Head of Strategic Marketing for Lafarge North America, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the US. Previously, he held several roles with Shell International, working in Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe. Manuel started his career as an Associate Consultant with Bain & Company and was a Director at Point à la Ligne, a privately held luxury goods company in France.
Manuel is a native of Portugal and currently splits his time working between our Lisbon and Washington D.C. offices. He earned a BA in International Relations from University of Windsor and a PhD in Politics from University of Cambridge.
