Marie Grønnegaard Christensen Egon Zehnder, Copenhagen
Marie Grønnegaard Christensen, based in Copenhagen, is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Health Practice. She advises clients on human capital strategy, and organizational design as well as talent and leadership assessment & development and executive search. Passionate about the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, she brings deep experience from the pharmaceutical industry, and has strong understanding of pharmaceutical engineering.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Marie was Vice President at Novo Nordisk, where she drove strategy reviews and discussions with the executive management team and the board of directors, as well as merger & acquisition discussions. Previously, she occupied various leadership positions within finance and strategy across the company’s corporate, global and affiliate functions in Denmark. Marie commenced her career at Novo Nordisk in treasury controlling and foreign exchange hedging.
Marie studied Finance and Economics at the University of Aarhus in Denmark, and earned both a MSc and a BSc from the University of Copenhagen. Earlier she studied English (BA ) at the University of Aarhus, Denmark SUNY Binghamton, New York and Nebraska Wesleyan University, Nebraska, USA.
