Scott McKie Egon Zehnder, Sydney
Scott McKie is a member of the Consumer Practice. He is experienced in creating and upskilling teams, improving and creating functional clarity, reforming structure and creating business plans that unlock value for both businesses and their customers. He is passionate about the potential of leadership, specifically about enabling teams and individuals to grow and increase their capacity to contribute and achieve success. He is based in Sydney.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Scott was the head of sales for Dyson in the United States, where he was responsible for budgeted sales and gross profit across three lines of business and seven channels, leading and motivating 380 people across multiple teams and functions, and creating a commercial strategy optimizing customers, pricing, distribution, sales and profit, as well as establishing a sustainable structure, driving new sources of revenue, establishing new partnerships for future technology, and growing and developing the broader sales team.
Before this, Scott spent eight years at Sony Pictures, starting in Australia as Director of Sales and finally leading the Canadian market as the Managing Director responsible for both digital and packaged media sales. He previously had over 20 years’ experience spanning across packaged goods, packaged and digital media and technology products while working with some of the world’s largest retailers, such as Mars, Nestlé, Best Buy, i-Tunes, Wal-Mart (USA and Canada), Target, Macy’s, Costco (North America and Australia) Amazon (USA and Canada) Woolworths, Coles and Kroger. Scott studied Business at the University of Technology, Sydney, and earned a Masters of Management degree from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
