Over the last decade as U.S. economic growth slowed, companies in Boston and across the country successfully chased and found growth opportunities overseas. Nearly three-quarters of all S&P 500 companies now report some amount of international revenue. A quick scan of the American boardroom, however, reveals that the board composition of these new global entities has failed to keep pace with their strategic redirection.
