Roopa Foley, based in Dallas, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Technology, Technology and Communications, and Financial Services practices, with a focus on chief information officer recruitment. She brings deep experience in diversity and inclusion to her work on board search and management appraisals. Roopa also has experience in Blockchain, cryptography, and distributed ledger technology, and is developing a global Blockchain Practice at the firm.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Roopa was Managing Director and Regional Manager for the Dallas and Houston offices of Barclays Wealth & Asset Management. Earlier, she was a Director with Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management. She was Vice President of dash.com, an online shopping bot developer, and Ibelli.com, an online furniture retailer. Roopa was also a Manager with Deloitte Consulting and began her career as a Quality Engineer and Environmental Scientist at Merck.
Roopa has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BS in chemical engineering from MIT. Roopa cochairs the Duke North Texas Alumi Club, sits on the Duke Alumni Association Board, and volunteers regularly with her family. In her charitable work, she is particularly passionate about helping to improve the lives of women and children.
