An active member of Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice, he is firmly grounded in aerospace & defence, oil & gas and capital-intensive industries including energy, logistics, and heavy industry. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Neill was with Element Six, a subsidiary of De Beers, in Oxford, England, holding various roles that culminated in that of Executive Director for Innovation with responsibility for R&D and new business models. Other roles included Head of Strategic Projects and Head of Corporate Strategy. Before that he worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and Equinor, an international oil and gas company. Earlier, Neill graduated from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst and served as an officer in the British Army for several years.
Neill earned a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. A devoted husband and father of a young son and daughter, outside work he enjoys coaching children’s football and competing in obstacle course races and is an avid rugby fan.
