She serves clients throughout Greater China and Asia/Pacific in the wealth, risk, and asset management sectors, including banking, retail, insurance, financial tech, and private equity. Claire is a trusted advisor on executive and board search, CEO succession and talent management, and senior leadership development.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Claire was the Chief of Staff for the Deputy CEO of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group in China with responsibility for the performance and daily operations of its institutional banking business there. That was preceded by the role of Head of Strategy for Westpac’s banking business in Greater China. Claire had returned to China to do consulting work for Bain & Company with a focus on financial services. Earlier, she was the M&A Manager of Westpac’s Group Strategy Team in Sydney, where she was directly involved in the largest financial sector merger in Australian history. Claire began her career in the Corporate Finance Division of BDO International Chartered Accountants in Sydney.
Claire earned a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) in finance and economics and a Master of Commerce in business law and accounting from the University of Sydney. Alongside her work, she spends as much time as possible with her children and also enjoys traveling, reading, practicing yoga, and jogging.
