Jennifer Dewar Thomas, based in Toronto, leads Egon Zehnder’s Services Practice in Canada and Professional Services Practice in North America. She is an expert in CEO succession and C-suite executive search and assessment in service industries. She advises leaders in the service sectors of financial, industrial, consumer, and private equity clients. Additionally, Jennifer leads the Human Resources Practice in Canada with a specialization in CHROs.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Jennifer was Head of Talent Management at Oliver Wyman, where she led the Americas’ talent management team for the firm’s core consultant group and worked on the global human capital leadership team. Previously, Jennifer was an Engagement Manager with Oliver Wyman in Toronto, working with clients across North America, Africa and Europe on a wide range of strategic engagements focused on growth. She was also an Associate at Equity Africa, a fledgling social venture-capital firm in South Africa.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in civil engineering from Queen’s University in Canada and then an MBA from London Business School. While at LBS, she participated in the international exchange program at CEIBS in Shanghai. A proud Nova Scotian, she loves to explore remote and unique parts of the world while traveling with her husband and three young children, spending as much time as possible outdoors and connecting with people she encounters along the way.
