Lisa Blais leads the firm’s Boston office, where she advises CEOs and boards across sectors on CEO and board succession and on leadership development and recruitment throughout the C-suite. Before assuming her current role, she led the firm’s North American Industrial Practice. There, she helped industrial companies and private equity firms investing in the sector, to build boards and C-suite teams to capitalize on new technologies, the digitalization of products and services and the need for faster and more direct distribution models. As part of her work with boards and C-suites, she also conducts management appraisals and team effectiveness reviews and advises on diversity and inclusion.


Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Lisa spent over twenty years with global industrial manufacturing companies, including roles in engineering, sales & marketing and general management. Most recently, Lisa was President of the Flow Control Division within ITT, a global pump business that served the marine, industrial, and beverage markets. Prior to that, she served as President of the global Commercial Electronics Division that produced switch and connector products sold into the automotive, telecommunications, industrial, computer and consumer markets. Lisa previously ran a significant portion of this business, C&K Switch Products, as General Manager. Prior to her general management roles, Lisa held several sales & marketing leadership positions and began her career on the factory floor as a manufacturing engineer. She was a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Lisa earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
