Birgit van Kalleveen, based in Amsterdam, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Health practices. She supports clients across all aspects of talent management, including succession planning, executive search, management appraisals, and leadership development.

When people love what they do, it radiates to the people around them. What inspires me every day is helping people find a role that makes them happy, fulfills their ambitions, and meets their personal goals.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Birgit was in charge of the sports orthopedics division of Johnson & Johnson Medical in the Benelux countries after leading digital, e-commerce, and other strategic initiatives for the company. Earlier in her career, she was a marketing manager at a Silicon Valley B2B Internet startup and an account executive at Chicago-based advertising agency Lowe Lintas. Birgit completed internships at McGraw-Hill and Procter & Gamble.

Birgit studied economics at the Vienna University of Economics in Austria and earned an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. She loves spending time with and traveling with her family and is fascinated by all facets of health, nutrition, medicine, and health care.
