Based in Monterrey, Alejandro Elizondo leads Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice in Mexico. He is also an active member of the firm’s global Financial, Services and Family Business practices. He partners with multi-national clients, family-owned companies, and private equity firms alike to solve their most complex and pressing human talent issues. In addition to his work in executive recruiting and assessment, Alejandro is active in CEO succession, team and board effectiveness, as well as cultural transformation. Alejandro is valued by his clients for his practical mindset, genuine passion for making deep connections with people, and non-stop energy.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Alejandro worked at Alpek (Grupo Alfa) where he held roles including Finance Director, IRO, ESG Director and Director of Logistics & Procurement. He started his career at The Boston Consulting Group where he last held the role of Project Leader.
Alejandro earned a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Outside work, Alejandro enjoys golf, running, reading, and traveling the world with his wife Sandra and their two children.
