Julian Ho, has deep expertise in the energy, chemicals, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. He leads Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice for the Asia Pacific and Middle East region. His work to facilitate the investments of many large global companies in Singapore has given him firsthand insight into their leadership and talent needs. Julian is also experienced in helping global, regional, and local enterprises leverage Singapore as a base for the Asia-Pacific market.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Julian was Assistant Managing Director with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). In his 17 years there, Julian led various parts of EDB’s global operations in investment promotion, while based in London, Stockholm, and New York. As Assistant Managing Director, he had oversight of the engineering and industrial clusters in Singapore, including energy, chemicals, aerospace, marine and offshore, cleantech, electronics and precision engineering; as well as consumer-centric clusters like biomedical sciences and professional services.
Julian has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering and a BA in Economics from Brown University, in the US. He also completed the Sloan Fellows Program (MBA) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. Outside of work, Julian is very devoted to his family, including two dogs. He enjoys snowboarding and keeping up with current affairs. Julian chairs the Singapore National Selections Committee for the United World College and is also involved in several other youth programs.
