Julian Ho, based in Singapore, works with a broad range of industrial clients in the Asia Pacific region. He also leads the Chemicals and Process Industry practice for the region. He has deep experience facilitating the investments made by some of the world’s most significant MNCs in Singapore. His particular expertise is in the energy, chemicals, engineering and manufacturing sectors, and also works with Public Sector clients.
I’m driven by the desire to be involved in creating more responsible, purpose-driven organizations, communities, and societies. As an Egon Zehnder consultant, I can do it — one leader at a time.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Julian was Assistant Managing Director with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). In his 17 years there, Julian led various parts of EDB’s global operations in investment promotion, while based in London, Stockholm, and New York. As Assistant Managing Director, he had oversight of the engineering and industrial clusters in Singapore, including energy, chemicals, aerospace, marine and offshore, cleantech, electronics and precision engineering; as well as consumer-centric clusters like biomedical sciences and professional services.
Julian has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering and a BA in Economics from Brown University, in the US. He also completed the Sloan Fellows Program (MBA) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. Outside of work, Julian is very devoted to his family, including two dogs. He enjoys snowboarding and keeping up with current affairs. Julian chairs the Singapore National Selections Committee for the United World College and is also involved in several other youth programs.
