Based in Tokyo, Hidenori Iwasaki is active in Egon Zehnder’s Supply Chain, Industrial, and Services practices. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Hidenori worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey serving clients in the manufacturing, consumer & retail, and logistics industries while focusing mainly on supply chain management and business transformation. That was preceded by the role of Senior Marketing Analyst at FedEx, where he helped build alliances with other Japanese logistics service providers. Before FedEx Express, he had devoted his career in start-up industries, worked as an investment principle in a venture capital and a founder of his own start-ups.
Hidenori earned a BA in political science from Waseda University and a Master of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Married with two young sons, when not on the job he enjoys traveling and hang gliding.

大学院卒業後は、ベンチャーキャピタルでのスタートアップ投資やスタートアップの創業などを経た後、FedEx Expressにてマーケティング職に携わる。その後マッキンゼーにて、製造業、物流企業、小売業界向けに事業戦略策定、組織改革、SCM最適化、調達改革などの経営コンサルティングに従事。
早稲田大学政治経済学部政治学科卒業、コロンビア大学国際政策・行政学大学院にて国際政策修士取得
