Based in Denver, Cody Butt leads Egon Zehnder’s Denver Office. In addition to supporting clients broadly across the Mountain West, he is a core member of the firm’s Services and Supply Chain & Operations practices. Cody leads Egon Zehnder’s Transport & Logistics work, drawing on well over a decade of hands-on industry experience. His work focuses on partnering with public and private enterprises to strengthen and scale their C‑Suites and Boards.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Cody spent more than a decade at McKinsey & Company in Denver in roles that included Engagement Manager and Associate Principal and culminated in that of Partner. His earlier work experience included working as a Senior Auditor for Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha.
Cody earned a BSBA and BAS in Accounting and French from the University of Nebraska at Omaha while also becoming a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor after completing internships in tax accounting and auditing and bookkeeping at Masimore, Magnuson & Associates. After that he went on to complete an MBA at Harvard Business School. When not working, Cody loves spending time with his wife and two children exploring everything that Colorado has to offer, from snowboarding and hiking to museums and theater.
