Kelly Owens, based in Denver, is a consultant at Egon Zehnder’s Technology & AI Practice Group. With a background spanning technology, sales, and marketing, she brings experience across high-growth startups, family-owned businesses, and Fortune 100 companies. Kelly works closely with boards, CEOs, and senior leaders on succession strategy, leadership transitions, and the development of high-performing executive teams, combining commercial experience with a deep understanding of business growth and organizational dynamics.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Kelly held commercial leadership roles in the technology and advertising sectors. She spent nearly a decade at Oracle, where she led sales and account management teams responsible for more than $300 million in revenue across acquired AdTech businesses, and later served as Vice President of Client Partnerships at Ibotta, helping scale the commercial organization during its IPO. Earlier in her career, she worked in marketing, leading digital transformation initiatives in the construction and automotive industries.
Kelly holds an MBA with a focus on Marketing from Harvard Business School and a BA in Spanish, with a minor in Italian, from the University of Kansas. She is a trained executive coach and certified in methodologies including Challenger Sales and Crucial Conversations. Outside of work, she is a passionate runner and fitness enthusiast, having completed the Boston Marathon and more than 25 half marathons. She serves on the board of the HBS Club of Colorado and is active with the Women’s Foundation of Colorado.
