Based in Chicago, Alex Santos focuses on helping clients recruit general managers and functional leaders as well as assess their internal talent. He also works with boards on CEO succession and Board Advisory. Over the years, Alex has served companies across multiple industrial sectors including machinery, automation, electrical products, flow products and hydraulics, aerospace, automotive and transportation, as well as metals. He is a core member of Egon Zehnder’s Machinery & Industrial Technology and Aerospace practices and is active in our Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Executive Assessment and Development practices

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Alex was a Profitable Growth Strategist at Milliken & Company, where he spearheaded growth initiatives ranging from acquisitions and marketing alliances to new product development and portfolio optimization. Alex also provided strategy advice to leading firms across Europe and the Americas as a Principal at Inforte Corporation, as an Engagement Manager at Braxton Associates and while working as a Consultant for Mars & Co.
Alex earned a BS in mechanical engineering/aerospace applications from Brown University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He is passionate about international soccer, sailing, history, and travel.
