Omar Molato

Omar Molato, based in Geneva, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Health and Financial Services practices. He is a trusted advisor to clients, drawing on extensive experience in the healthcare sector (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices) and financial services (asset management, wealth management and private equity). Omar is passionate about digital innovation, diversity and sustainability topics that are shaping the future of organizations.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Omar was the Head of Client Strategy at Pictet Asset Management in Geneva with responsibility for retail and wholesale strategy while also serving as the secretary of the diversity and inclusion committee. Before that, he was a manager at McKinsey & Co. in Geneva, advising clients across Europe, the U.S. and Asia on strategy, growth initiatives and organizational design. Omar began his career as a physician specialized in nutrition at the University Hospital of Nice.

Omar studied medicine at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg and received his specialization degree from Sophia-Antipolis University in Nice, France before going on to complete an MBA at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing tennis and traveling.
