Based in Sweden, Philip Schwarz works closely with clients advising in leadership transition and development related matters, always with a business perspective. His main focus is on CEO and P&L leaders as well as CFO roles. He leads the Machinery and Industrial Technology Practice in Europe and the CFO practice in Sweden. He is passionate about helping clients manage change and draws on relevant leadership experience across multiple industries and corporate structures, including joint stock, family run and private equity.

I am truly energized by supporting leaders and companies in growing to their full potential.

Before coming to Egon Zehnder, Philip has held multiple leadership positions with ABB, Sulzer and as CEO of the drives manufacturer Emotron. In addition, he has held CEO positions at Kellfri, a B2C/B2B online farming equipment supplier, and at a company specialized in packaging equipment and supplies.

Philip earned an MBA at the Lund University School of Economics and Management. He also attended the Managing Global R&D and Innovation (IMOT) program of Chalmers University of Technology, in Gothenburg. Philip is the father and stepfather to five children.
