Based in Miami, Artemio Garza is active in Egon Zehnder’s Consumer and Travel & Hospitality practices while focusing on restaurants and retail. His particular strengths include brand revitalization, B2C and B2B marketing innovation, customer loyalty, franchising, digital transformation, and private equity restructuring.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Artemio successively held the roles of VP for Business Development, Chief Brand Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Driven Brands based in Charlotte, North Carolina, driving marketing and sales initiatives for global brands that included MAACO, Meineke, Take 5 Oil Change, and CARSTAR. Before that he was with Burger King Corporation in Miami as the Senior Marketing Director for Marketing, Latin America and the Caribbean, then Senior Director of Sales and Business Development, and finally Senior Director of Marketing for Mexico. He began his career as an analyst at Oliver Wyman.
Artemio earned a BA in economics and a BS in mechanical engineering from Stanford, then an MBA from MIT. Outside his consulting work, he enjoys skiing and snowboarding in the mountains and loves animals. Artemio also recently opened a bakery-bistro with a childhood friend in Monterrey, Mexico, his hometown. He is fluent in English in addition to his native Spanish.
