Antonio Ianora, based in Milan, leads Egon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice with specializations in energy, automotive, and machinery and industrial technology. He works closely with clients to help fill CxO executive positions in general management and functional leadership. Antonio is passionate about actively shaping leadership with services that include executive assessment and development, team effectiveness consulting, coaching, and integration support for executives who are transitioning to new roles.

It isn’t what you do that defines you, but the legacy you leave behind.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Antonio held global and regional roles in business development, organization, and operations for Royal Dutch Shell in Europe and Africa. Before that he led strategy and organizational missions as a consultant for Bain & Company in Italy. Antonio began his career at L’Oréal in France in operations.

Antonio holds an MSc in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, an MSc in engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées in Paris, and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore. He strives to be a good father to his sons and enjoys sailing and skiing.
