Michael Fraccaro is a senior advisor in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and Technology Practice Groups. He partners with boards, CEOs, and executive teams navigating moments of transformation—supporting them through succession, culture evolution, leadership scaling, and the organizational implications of growth, M&A, and technological disruption. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience across technology and financial services, he brings a fact-based, globally informed, and outcomes-oriented perspective to help leaders untangle complex people and organizational challenges and gain clarity under pressure.
What motivates me most is translating insight into action—helping leaders and organizations unlock performance by investing in people, culture, and trust, where lasting results are built.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Michael served as Chief People Officer at Mastercard, where he was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and led key people and succession initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held senior human resources leadership roles at HSBC across multiple international markets.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Education from Australian Catholic University and a Master of Applied Science in Communication Management from the University of Technology Sydney. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, staying active, reading, espresso coffee, and following football, Formula 1, and tennis, and serves as Chair of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City.
