Based in San Francisco, Julia Nenke is a leader in Egon Zehnder’s Executive Assessment and Development and Human Resources practices with a particular focus on the retail, consumer, and technology sectors. A transformation specialist, she draws on her deep experience to help leaders face such challenges as business stagnation, post-merger integration, turnarounds, and rapid growth.

I really believe that leadership is a journey, and my passion is helping leaders unlock their unique potential, build teams, and pilot organizations.

Before coming to Egon Zehnder, Julia was the Senior Vice President for Organizational Capability at Vertafore, a software company that meets the needs of insurance verticals. While there, she led its transformation from a holding company to an integrated business model. Previously, she was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources with Tabcorp.

Julia earned an MBA from the University of Melbourne and recently completed a Leadership Coaching Certificate from the Institute of Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University. The mother of teenage children, she is passionate about family, friends, and travel. Julia does volunteer work for a charity called Green Plate Special, teaching urban youth about the joys of gardening and cooking and the value of eating together and engaging in real conversation.
