Stacy Hostetler, based in San Francisco, is a coleader of Egon Zehnder’s Medical Technology Practice. Her work spans medical devices, diagnostics, and biotechnology, with a particular focus on digital convergence in health care. She is also a member of the Health Practice and draws on her deep experience as a marketing leader in the medical device space to guide executive search and talent assessment for senior leadership positions.
Working with leaders and companies to expand possibilities in health care inspires me every day. My goal is to empower those people and organizations to fully leverage their strengths and maximize their impact.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Stacy held a number of key commercial roles in the medical technology space with a specific focus on implantable devices. Most recently, she served as the Portfolio Integration Lead for Medtronic’s peripheral vascular business following a pivotal acquisition. Previously, she held commercial roles in the United States and Europe at Biotronik, ev3/Covidien, and Boston Scientific, and as a Consultant at PRTM.
Stacy has an MBA from the Kelley School of Business and a BA in microbiology from Indiana University. She is passionate about supporting the next generation of female leaders. Stacy is a mentor for C-Sweetner and Dress for Success. In her spare time, she enjoys swing dancing, scuba diving, and wine, and has the perfect restaurant recommendation for any occasion.

As a core member of the Health practice group, she serves as an advisor on executive search for senior leadership positions, drawing on her experience as a marketing leader in the medical-device space.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Stacy served as the portfolio integration manager for a key business sec-tor as well as the therapy development leader with a focus on global reimbursement and economic value at Medtronic. Previously, Stacy gained global experience while based in Zurich, Switzerland, where she focused on global launches in Asia and Europe at Biotronik AG. Earlier in her career Stacy held key commercial roles at ev3/Covidien and Boston Scientific, as well as serving as a consultant for PRTM, where she advised clients in the healthcare space.
