Shine Ding, based in Singapore, is a PRC Chinese. She has been living and working in Southeast Asia since 2012, serving clients across the region focusing on Consumer, Retail and Digital sectors. In addition to executive search, she advises clients on broad range of leadership topics at individual, team and organization levels including leadership assessment, executive coaching, team effectiveness, organization setup and culture.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Shine was a Director of Retail Networks for Volkswagen in Southeast Asia, where she was tasked to set up the company’s own operations in Indonesia while managing its existing dealer network. Previously, she was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and advised consumer and technology clients in the U.S., China, and Southeast Asia on strategy, partnership, M&A, and sales & marketing topics. Earlier, Shine was with UBS Investment Banking in Beijing and Hong Kong.
Shine holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, writing and spending time with her two young daughters.
