Having worked with tech and digital throughout my career, I’ve seen the immense impact it has on modern businesses. My mission is to drive companies’ future success by cultivating a digital mindset in their leadership teams.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Sara held the roles of CEO and Senior Advisor at Movero Management AB, a Stockholm-based consultancy focusing on business and technology that she had cofounded. She concurrently set up Skipperi, a fast-growing peer-to-peer boat rental platform. Before that, Sara served as the CFO of LifePincher AB after a stint as Senior Manager in charge of IT transformation at PwC Sweden. Earlier, she was with Statoil, first as that company’s global IT strategist and IT governance board leader and then taking the role of a Business Area CIO based in Oslo and London. Sara began her career by launching her own consultancy (with contracts that included developing a new system for the Swedish Department of Defense) before spending several years as an IT strategy consultant at Accenture, serving clients across multiple industries.
Sara earned a BA in business administration from Stockholm University, a Master of Science in IT management from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, and an Executive MBA from the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University. When not working, she connects with her husband and two young daughters and is passionate about skiing, hiking, and the full range of water sports.
