Gregg LeStage

つながる

Based in Boston, Gregg LeStage is the Director in Egon Zehnder’s Leadership Advisory Practice. He has spent more than 20 years helping companies across a wide range of industries and sectors transform their organizations for greater success. Gregg’s achievements in research and design, business development, and people development have earned him the loyalty of many clients as well as a number of leadership roles. During his first career as an academic at Oxford University, he developed a firm belief in the power of the teaching/learning dynamic to drive change at the personal, team and organization levels. While primarily focusing on the people side of change, Gregg has also made a specialty of making HR functions more agile, data-driven, and strategic.

Whatever the question, the answer is always talent. And that means leadership: at every level of an organization. More than ideas or intelligence, it is mindsets, skills, and behaviors that drive progress.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Gregg was a Senior Expert in McKinsey & Co.’s Organization Practice. Before that he served first as the Executive Vice President of Kotter International in Cambridge, Massachusetts and then as the President of its Center for Leaders with responsibility for conceiving, designing, and developing it to equip leaders with the skills needed to drive large-scale transformations. Earlier, Gregg was a Partner at Oliver Wyman, coheading that consultancy’s Global Leadership Development Practice. His previous roles included those of Executive Consultant with The Forum Corporation and Strategic Accounts Director at LRN.

Gregg earned a BA from Trinity College and then an MPhil and a DPhil from Oxford University. His areas of study included English literature, French, and religion. Gregg has authored numerous publications on topics including leadership, insourcing, and organizational change. Outside work, he enjoys fixing and driving antique vehicles, poetry, and spending time with his three daughters.
