Satyajeet Thakur

Satyajeet Thakur, based in London, is active in Egon Zehnder’s Global Industrial Practice on C-Suite and Board appointments. He is a thought leader on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and leads our efforts in ensuring much greater Ethnic Diversity on UK Plc Boards and in senior management ranks across all sectors of the UK economy. He is particularly active with companies committed to the Energy Transition, Innovation and Sustainability. He enjoys being a senior leadership assessor and development advisor to current & future C-Suite talent.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Satya was Director and CEO of Bblunt in India. Previously, he was a Principal with Booz & Company, based in London and Dubai, and worked for clients in Europe, the Middle East, and West Africa. Earlier, Satya was a Navigating Officer in the Merchant Marine.

Satya has a BA in Economics and Commerce from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from London Business School. He values his work-life balance, and is passionate about Indian poetry, world history, and geopolitics.
