Andy Chiu, based in Shanghai, relies on his extensive industrial experience to advise clients on executive recruitment and talent strategy. He possesses special expertise on cross-border management issues. Andy is particularly active across Egon Zehnder’s global Industrial Practice while also contributing to the Executive Assessment and Development Practice.
My work lets me see key issues and evolution of industries through the eyes of senior executives. I bring value to my clients by weaving strands together and recognizing patterns.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Andy was the General Manager for China at Honeywell Connected Home, which he helped launch in Shanghai as a new consumer-oriented business, and before that he served as Honeywell’s Director of Strategy for High-Growth Regions. Earlier, Andy was a Management Consultant in Beijing with McKinsey & Company and Kamsky Associates, advising major corporations on capital investments, corporate finance, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Andy earned a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. Outside of work, he enjoys following sports, fine dining, and wine tasting.
